"Get There Faster" by Jintian, a nasty, painful Harry/Ron story set after Order of the Phoenix. It's a dark, disturbing, wonderful glimpse into one way Harry might have responded to the end of OotP, and how he thinks he should prepare himself for the future.
"Prophecies and Prejudice: the Aurora Summers Diaries, April 1814-June 1815" by
twinkledru, which is, so far, a crossover which includes: Buffy, Angel, Sharpe, Sorcery and Cecelia, A Great and Terrible Beauty, and Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Of those, I have no experienced with Sharpe, Sorcery and Cecelia, or Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, but I still love this story, and Aurora's voice, and the footnotes (footnote LOVE), and--just go read it. It's a work in progress, but I am willing to wait for more.
Foreword and Chapter One, Chapter Two, Chapter Three, and Chapter Four
"Feeling Lucky" by
karabair, a hot, funny, and wonderful Cordelia/Gunn story set early in season two. I love this, the references to the way Cordelia's life was in high school and how it has changed, and the problems of having sex with a friend and the sex itself was fabulous and imperfect.
Transmutation" by
kurukami, a Pitch Black/Firefly crossover story which works very well in a strange, wonderful way. It's about Riddick and what he gives up to be able to see, but it's about so much more as well.
"Can't Stand the Waiting" by
velvetandlace is a story about Mary Anne, from the Baby-Sitters Club, early in the series, when she was shy and lonely and so afraid of everything. It's Mary Anne, feeling like she hasn't got a friend in the world, and it's beautiful.
