Watching "Dirty Girls" from BtVS season seven.

How in the world did I forget how much I love the way Faith and Spike flirt in the basement. The smoking together, the sex talk, the way Spike knows why she waited to break out of prison, the cigarette passed from one mouth to the other, the "I got dangerous for awhile" and getting over it conversation, the looks, the effing looks with the lowered chins and eyes all teasy and oh.

First time around, I wasn't a big fan of Spike at this point. I loved him in season two, adored "Lovers' Walk" in season three, didn't mind him so much in season four, and then it was all gone. But I liked crazy, souled Spike a bit in season seven, and Spike and Faith in the basement--yeah, I could get into this. May have to write something.

I liked him more in season five of Angel; J. liked him then, too (though, to be fair, that was his first experience with it), found him funny. One of these days I'll show him season two Spike, because I think he'd really like him then, and probably Drusilla, too.

Faith is such a flirt. I love her.

I remember on the commentary for that episode they said that scene was a set up for a possible Spike/Faith spin-off, but Eliza ended up getting Tru Calling (which I really liked and hate Fox for canceling when it was getting really good)

I love Spike. I didn't really like him in the beginning, but then he fell in love with Buffy... my first reaction to that was "okay, that is just stupid.", but it really grew on me and I loved their relationship and how she was carnally drawn to him and everything.
