Jurassic World Fic: With Both Hands, Claire/Owen

There's a three sentence ficathon going on, and I wrote a quick little thing for carlyinrome set after Jurassic World.

Prompt: with both hands


Claire can hear them in her sleep, the sibilant hiss of raptor, genetically modified, monstrous, salvation. When she wakes, she's sticky with sweat, heart racing, both hands fisted; her fight or flight response -- mammalian, reptilian, avian -- is stuck on fight, no matter the lack of threat.

Owen presses his hands against her fists, then the back of her wrists, then cups her elbows, his touch light, and she breathes him in, hot breath out; slowly, one finger at a time, she can open those fists and reach for him with both hands wide open.
