Lost and happy thoughts for Wednesday

I so have a story idea now. A Lost/Buffy the Vampire Slayer crossover. I'm sure plenty of people also had the same thought, but still I will write mine and be happy.

No spoilers here (no time! Why is there never enough time?) but I wanted to say this:



I love Ana-Lucia with the purest, wildest, most amazing love of all. I have felt this way since last season, but I love her more each episode. Tonight? I loved her with the love of a hundred thousand suns, a billion stars, an end of the world, amazing love.

I fear I will become irrational when people get their hate-on for her as usual. So I will avoid such situations.

Also? Ana-Lucia and Eko (is that right?) are my new jungle lust people. Holy hell. Together, apart (preferably together) they are amazing.

I need icons of him holding her. Oh. Just oh.

Happy thoughts for Wednesday:

+ Lost, oh so good
+ story idea
+ finding out people are still reading "Queertet Revisited"
+ realizing I was wrong and crimson_keys isn't writing The Lost Boys/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for my Christmas story (no, that's a separate project entirely) she is writing The Lost Boys/Blade in which Anna and Blade will fight. I will be dead from the hot.
+ burning a candle while I write another 2500+ words
+ getting an idea for the crossover I'm writing with shisaiyan (well, one of them) which I need to write down before I forget and then flesh it out so I can stop being a slacker

I like these happy thoughts.

Why do I have no Lost icons on here? I am so used to 100 icons on my non-fandom journal I forget I have such little space here.

Really? People hate Ana-Lucia? I'm just joining Lost this season and that makes me sad to hear! She is easily my favorite character so far. How do they now love her?!

They don't love her because she hit Sawyer and shot Shannon, never mind the fact that Ana-Lucia was protecting her own and it's not like Shannon will never show up again in flashbacks and didn't totally make trouble for Sayid in the airport before they even met one another.

Sharing the love of Ana and Eko. Also loving that Rose's husband isn't some Stock Black Dude, 'cause that would have been as dull as hell unless, of course, the black dude were Eko (who I love just about any way he can possibly show up).

I don't understand why people don't like Ana-Lucia, or why they wouldn't after tonight. Okay, she killed Shannon... last season everyone wanted the bitch dead! Shannon's pretty much useless, anyway... Sun's a gardner, Kate's a leader, Claire's a... okay, Claire's a mommy, but considering the fact that Turniphead is only a few weeks old, that's an extremely important job right now. Hmm... if we have to have one less Alpha Female on the island, would I want her to be "Red Cross Certified, makes her own weapons, doesn't take shit from just anyone" girl or do I want her to be "lays about tanning, speaks French, fucked and then lost her stepbrother" girl?

Shannon's character improved over the first season, and she was important to the cast then, but now she's redundant and weak and her death causes angst. Even though I hate the plot twist because I like Sayid, and a dead Shannon will hurt Sayid, I don't hate Ana for pulling the trigger. She was just protecting her own, same as Sayid would've, same as Shannon tried to do when she found out Locke was with Boone when he fell, and lied about the circumstances.

Haha! In Camp Fighters (our usual camp being Camp Lovers... the Lovers and the Fighters, get it? Yes, corny, I know) the Peace Corps guy was the Other, not the Canadian! Am slightly disappointed, but only because I have love for the Peace Corps (which I'm considering as a Temporary Career Solution) and Canada.
