Fandom: Potential Yuletide Nominations

Brainstorming Yuletide nominations. I'm feeling very disconnected with my small fandoms, and I don't want to be, so I'm going to see if actively engaging them despite how I feel will help.

Agent Pendergast series: Corrie Swanson Appreciation Life, but I'm at least two books behind on the series, probably more.
Craft: Teen witch shenanigans!
Dance Academy: I've already received excellent stories in this fandom, but I'm rewatching it in order to finally watch season three, and I love these characters SO MUCH.
Fast and the Furious series: Not sure this will be eligible, and I prefer to write than to request, usually, but we will see.
Girl Meets World: I haven't watched it yet, but the more I hear, the more love I have. I need to get caught up before Yuletide.
Hellcats: WHY IS THIS NOT ON DVD YET? Cheerleader shenanigans! Sisters! Dancing!
Jurassic World: Fix-it fic, needs more women, needs more Lex and Tim.
Lost Boys series: I tend to want to write in this fandom rather than request, but I would be interested to see what people would do with the introduction of werewolves into the world. Again, maybe too specific for Yuletide, and also not sure I want to rewatch the second movie or watch the third movie to actually build this prompt.
Mighty Ducks movies: Teen hockey shenanigans! Mostly focused on Julie and Connie, because I need more hockey fandoms with girls. Where is that fandom? If you know, please share.
Monster High: HOW HAVE I NOT WATCHED THIS BEFORE? I keep seeing gifs, and I need to watch it immediately. TEEN GIRL WEREWOLVES.
Next Step: Dance fandom, but haven't seen any part of the latest season.
Pushing Daisies: Chosen family and case fic shenanigans! Though I don't think the source is available streaming any longer. I should buy the dvds.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Teen witch shenanigans!
Turn of the Story: Teen fantasy shenanigans with OT3. Maybe there are werewolves.
Village: Really want werewolf fic for this, but that may be too specific a request for Yuletide.
Werewolf: Beast Among Us: last year I posted about how I wanted Yuletide fic for it, I always love werewolves, not sure I have any story ideas.

You know what? This is working. I am feeling enthusiasm and excitement and want to consume media again.

I like Girl Meets World even though I very seldom like sitcoms. It's very sweet, and it doesn't pretend that everything can be fixed in an episode or that things that are sad are really funny. Everybody means well, too. The characters are well defined, and the kids are believably kids.

Season 3 of Dance Academy is really excellent! I nearly bailed after [that terrible thing in S2] but I'm glad I didn't because S3 fleshes out some characters that I hadn't clicked with, and I ended up loving. And Yuletide has been really good for Dance Academy fic, too.

I've actually had to take a little break in my S2 rewatch because that terrible thing is coming up, and I'm not sure I can deal with it again. I am determined to get to S3, though. I NEED TO KNOW MORE.

I really admire (and envy, a little) how enthused and fannish you are about so many things. *^^*

When I first started participating in online fandom, I was strictly one fandom at a time. A few years in, when I started being more multifannish, it felt weird, like I wasn't dipping into any one fandom with any real depth. I don't feel like that any longer, I just enjoy it, but it was a weird transition.

I think, on a broad level, there are just a couple things I fannishly love (werewolves, chosen family, teen girls and their friendships and adventures), and I'm lucky that a lot of things fit into those boxes.

I had no idea that Lost Boys is a series. I will have to check these out!

Let me know what you think! I'm not a fan of the second movie, and haven't yet watched the third, but they do expand the universe, which is interesting.
