La Scala Choir singing "I Touch Myself" is--well, I'd say the best music in the world, but it's not. However, it is absolutely fabulous and it is the best version I've heard of the song. Choral performance of a masturbation song? Brilliant.

I have not slept. I am only a little tired now. Instead I have cleaned, watched a disgusting number of fanvids, read Baby-sitters Club fanfic, and am currently writing my parts of the Homecoming storyline in "Queertet Revisited" which I love.

Over holiday, thestalkycop and I came up with how the story is going to end. We practically crowed, like good Pans, we were so thrilled with our decisions. It's a delicious storyline (well, storylines, really) and we will tie them all up nicely. Go us.

We've also been talking about songs for various characters. This was way more fun in person, in front of the pool (or in the pool), while smoking flavored cigarettes. Damn it, why can't we be on holiday always? Oh right, because then it would be real life.

Much better real life if we lived together all the time. I am so going to go be an illegal alien someday and crash on their couch.

There's gen fic, het fic, slash fic, canon fic, future fic, gen fic canon fic... the list goes on to include my favorite, slash fic future fic. (Byron/Jeff 4ever! *giggles*)

Really, there's something in just about every category you can imagine. There's no BDSM, no scat, no "dark chocolate" stuff like that, but just about any vanilla category you can think of exists.

Anything decent at this point. I just wrote and published my first BSC fic a couple weeks ago (femmeslash/vignette) and I'd love to find more of any flavour, as long as it's good!

Friends, Changes, Together, Alone (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2181713/1/) which is set post the California Diaries and post Kristy's Big News in the Friends Forever series. It's about the BSC going to visit Dawn in California, but unlike their last trip, this carries more of the darker, more adult tone of the California Diaries. There are some technical details which could have been fixed (typos mostly), but the story itself was really good. I recently reread one of the California Diaries books, and kept expecting things from the story to appear in them, so it seemed really in character and believable.

Guys, Girls, Nowhere (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2586567/1/) which is the sequel to the above, is still in progress, and focuses almost exclusively on the California Diaries characters (at least so far), though there are tidbits about the others.

Tijuana (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2558683/1/) which is a Stacey/Sunny story set during spring break while they're in college and is delicious and a little disheartening.

Pearls (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1964311/1/) which is Mary Anne facing the future and is bittersweet and wonderful.
