Reunion and a brief whinge about the OC

I'm looking forward to some of the fall television line-up. For the first time since Buffy season four and Angel season one, I have more than one show in a season I am really, truly excited about watching the entire season. Of course, most of them will fall flat, I'm sure, but so far I have hope.
I am, of course, eager for Lost season two. I am also eager for my season one dvds to arrive, stupid Best Buy having a backorder, I want my dvds!
Then I watched Reunion last week, caught it mostly by accident, and I love it. Cheesy dialogue, some annoying characters, but an interesting premise (as I thought when just reading about it). I also adore Alexa Davalos and find her character a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how the child plotline plays out, if it does at all. The prison plotline annoys me to no end, because no matter his reasons (and I do get his reason) I don't think he should take the fall. Much love to the judge for being a hard ass, though. And there is a Carla character! There are never Carla characters! I am so, so excited about her.
Also, I did not know Jeri Ryan was going to be on the OC. I don't even watch it, but for her I would. Was she just doing one episode or will she be back throughout the season? If the latter, I have just added another show to watch, a show which will confuse me because I know nothing about it. Probably I should not watch it just for her, but it's Jeri Ryan! How can I resist?
I was going to talk more about what I'm looking forward to watching (Supernatural is one of them, I think), but
cadhla posted about comfort foods in this entry. After reading it, and the comments, I'm starving. I've only had some chicken this morning, and now I need more food. (More diet dr. pepper, too, and I'm all out in the house.) I also need to go try to find some things for the Florida holiday and finish reading this really horrid wizard book I'm reviewing.
It's early afternoon, though, so I have plenty of time.
