I knew there would be some sort of Twilight Forks tour or something. It makes me wish all my favorite snarkers were here with me to go, you know, snark on location or something.

(Poor Forks, they didn't even film the movie there. It looks like a cute little town.)

You guys, I am totally going to go see this movie and then devour the snark about it, because I can't stop reading the snark about the books. (Which, for the record, I own.)

Also, I want non-crappy supernatural stories to be written about the Pacific Northwest because it is amazing here. So, any suggestions?

I was in Forks last year, but it was before I had even heard of Twilight so I didn't really see any of the sights. But it was a cute little town and I am SURE that there is someone out there writing decent Northwest supernatural stuff. There has to be, right?

Oh, wow, I didn't know it was a real town—I just assumed it was fictional. I feel kind of bad for the for all the legions of crazies that have probably descended upon them (though I imagine it's good for local businesses, at least).

When ever I finish my short vampire story set in Portland/Washington, you can read it, if you wish. And bits of my LB stories were set in Oregon... but I never got to Washington. Maybe for my original fic. Lord knows I've spent 27 years here, might as well use what I know.

My 12 year old and her friends are freaking out about the movie. They are pissed about everything... the actors they chose, the styles, etc. I told them that maybe they should actually see the movie before they freak out. No such luck, LOL
