X-Men Origins: Wolverine casting spoiler



Gambit! Taylor Kitsch as Gambit? I think my brain may have just melted. Gambit is probably my second favorite character in the comics at this point (behind Beast who has pretty much always been my favorite, and despite the fact I thoroughly hate the Gambit/Rogue relationship), and Taylor Kitsch is one of the hottest thing to ever hot. The only thing I would enjoy more would be to see Steven Strait in another mutant role. (Dude, Strait as Warren Peace was beyond hot. And between Strait and Kitsch in The Covenant, my brain did melt.)

How exciting! I want new X-Men movies now, not next year.

Doesn't Gambit have a really thick accent? (Or does my fanfic reading deceive me?) I must say I'm a bit scared about the accent. They better show some abs. TK's got such wonderful abs.

Yeah, he does. I'm hoping the hotness will cover any accent mistakes, because TK does have gorgeous abs and is very hot. I managed to overlook Colossus's lack of an accent in favor of the super hotness, so I have hope.
