[television] more supernatural thoughts

Work? What the hell is up with being busy when I want to read people's thoughts about Supernatural? Yesterday, so slow I could have slept through it (and probably should have, obviously). Today? Busy, busy, busy.
I do have a couple of thoughts about the episode.
+ Jo is the informant, and possibly playing on Team Gordon. (I don't just mean as the informant, I mean as much as a team as Gordon can get. Which leads me to my next thought.)
+ The few kids Ash found with the fire in their history seems like a mighty small army. Also, Ash was able to come up with that list really fast. He's good, yeah, but what if that's not what's going on? What if Ash already had a list, a bigger list, for Team Gordon and Jo, and the names he gave Sam were the ones they (or just Jo) approved of giving him?
I'm not saying that Jo has gone bad, necessarily, but the last time we saw her, she was angry at anyone named Winchester. Gordon obviously thinks Dean won't do what needs to be done. Apparently there's some extra canon source which has Jo and Gordon working together earlier, so there's that teamwork already, plus the fact that Gordon can be very pragmatic and persuasive. Jo's already sure the Winchesters can't be trusted to do the job right. She's primed for another team.
Plus I get the feeling Ash would do just about anything for her.
So Gordon works better alone and sends Jo after her own list of Demon Kids while he deals with the big one, Sam Winchester. She's out there alone, supposed to be killing people herself. Maybe he knows she's not ready for that, and he has her just watching. Either way, Team Gordon could have been a force to be reckoned with, if only he'd left Sam for, say, last.
It's just a theory, but it's almost enough to make me want to write a fic.
One final thought about Ava.
+ So this is how it is. The demon shows up, kills her loveable fiance, and sticks around to recruit her. Except! Dear Ava is really a rock-hard, incestuous werewolf, and she kicks demon butt straight out the window. (The sulfur.) She's hunting him down, now. That's why supernatural creatures shouldn't mess with each other. No wonder she hasn't been visited in her dreams by the Yellow-Eyed Man.
Not plausible, but it makes me grin.
