[tv on dvd] buffy season two

Just got back from watching Buffy with A. and B. (Dude, I just realized--A., B., and C. were watching Buffy. I maybe need some sleep, because that's hilarious.) Anyway, we're on season two, and today we reached "What's My Line". We watched part one and then, though it was late, A. demanded we watch part two because she couldn't stand the cliff hanger.

I think I'll set it up so she can only watch part one of "Becoming". Torture is fun. And then I'll take a break before season three.

It's actually a lot of fun to watch the episodes with people who have never seen them before. It makes me look at them with fresh eyes, too, though I've seen them so often. It also inspired me to order the seasons of Angel I was missing, so that when we get there, we can watch each Buffy episode with the Angel ep that aired that week.

Now I need to go to sleep. J., A., and I are supposed to go to breakfast in three hours, plus there's a party tomorrow night. I'm already yawning.

I can understand being sad that she's seen them all, I already find myself dragging out A.'s viewing time, just doing an episode or two at a time, because I don't want it to end. Watching it with someone who hasn't seen it before is almost like watching it fresh myself, I keep seeing all these little details I'd noticed the first time around and then took for granted in later viewings and it's a lot of fun.
