Advice to characters in my fandom



+ If the cute girl with crazy hair you've been eyeing for days says the 'wine' you're about to drink is really blood, you should probably listen to her. Since, you know, she actually knows the strangers with whom you've run off.

+ Also, if a cute girl with crazy hair takes off with a group of hot leather-wearing motorcycle-riding guys one night, and then gets you all alone the next time you see her, she may not have your best interests in mind. Just sayin'.

+ It's possibly not a good idea to start dating a really hot musician just so you look cool, because eventually he's going to become a werewolf and then really break your heart. Except, since you were just using him in the first place, marking time until your best friend noticed you were a female and someone to whom he could be attracted, it's hard to feel a lot of sympathy for you.

+ Really hot musician werewolves should stay away from witches. Again, I'm just sayin'.

+ The whole T.A. dating a student thing? That's a BAD IDEA, farm boy.

+ When your best friends are trained spies, it is never a good idea to try to hide from them the fact you're in love with your number one enemy.


I'm on and off my computer tonight, but if you want to give me prompts, either drabbles to write or that whole Five Things list meme (five things fill-in-the-blank did/likes/hates/ate/etc.) or just something you'd like to see me write you, feel free. I'm looking for inspiration this weekend.

I was just talking about this recently. Yeah, my short answer is that I was never a Willow/Oz shipper, but she totally should have treated him better. Bad Willow.

I quite like the Willow and Oz relationship because I absolutely love the way Oz treats her. He's so gentle and each time he touches her, it's so full of worship and love it's absolutely amazing. If I can ever write a relationship with that much caring in it, I will be lucky.

However.

The fact that Willow was just using him and often treated him like crap (not to mention the way it was okay for her to kiss Xander [well, not okay, exactly, but she obviously didn't consder it as bad as the situation between Oz and Veruca] but not for Oz to have his thing on the side, plus other things) really bothers me and made her character, once so sympathetic to me, quite nasty. Bad Willow indeed.

Well, there's a big difference between Willow/Xander and Oz/Veruca - all Willow and Xander did was kiss, while Oz actually had sex with Veruca. Granted, there were extenuating circumstances in Oz's case, but still, having sex with someone else is completely different from just kissing someone else.

But, that said, in the aftermath of the Clothes Fluke, I do think that Willow was a lot more concerned about how she felt than she was about how her makeout sessions with Xander had made Oz feel. And that ties in to the reason I never shipped Willow/Oz - it was obvious, to me, that Oz cared very deeply for Willow, but I just never got the sense that Willow cared all that much about Oz. I kinda would have liked Seth Green to have stayed with the show so we could have seen that dynamic play itself out - but then we wouldn't have had Tara, who I love, so maybe it was for the best after all.

Even though I was always a Willow/Xander shipper, I still felt kinda sorry for Oz, though.
