I can't wait for the new television season to begin. I feel very disassociated with fandom at the moment, not the people in fandom necessarily (I always feel out of the loop with them, for a variety of reasons), but with feeling excited about something.

Last summer, there was Serenity and the preview showings and planning the Florida holiday with thestalkycop (which also involved Serenity and Firefly and Lost). This year, there's nothing like that.

I think maybe this is more a product of the rest of my life than my fandom life. I'm in limbo right now, and ready to move on, but the time isn't here yet, and won't be for over a year. This leaves me feeling unsatisfied with all aspects of my life, even things I normally enjoy.

Any shows in particular you are looking forward to seeing? I'm curious as to what people are predicting could become favorites. Or, are you just going back to standard viewing pleasures?

The ones I know for certain I'm looking forward to watching are standards from last season, Bones and Supernatural. I am waffling about Lost, I really enjoyed the first season, and the second season wasn't as good but I loved a couple of the characters. However, after the end of the second season, I'm boycotting the way it was handled, and I don't want to watch. However, I might get sucked into it anyway.

Then I've only recently started watching Grey's Anatomy, so I may pick that up as well.

As for new shows, I'm not sure yet. I need to read about them. Are you looking forward to any?
