Took J. to the airport this morning. He's visiting his mom in Hawaii for a couple of weeks, a last minute trip because she just had surgery and needs some help. I've been up since 2:30 a.m. and am still going strong. I'm frightened. Of course, that was after only an hour long nap from 1:30 to 2:30. Other than that, I've been up since 9 p.m. Thursday night. J. too and his flight doesn't land until almost 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Poor boy. Well, 2 a.m. my time, a bit earlier Hawaii time.

shivaholics: Vin Diesel talks about the second Riddick movie

Diesel Says Riddick 2 in the Works
Source: MTV March 11, 2005
The Pacifier star Vin Diesel tells MTV that after he completes his epic Hannibal the Conqueror movie, he plans on moving forward on The Chronicles of Riddick 2. The first film, released last June, earned $115.4 million worldwide yet cost about $140 million to produce and market. It did well on DVD, however.
"Riddick? Well, you know that I've always had 'C2' planned," Diesel conceded. "I'm silently — and I shouldn't even say this — I'm silently working on 'C2' with some of the outlines that were created when I first thought of doing the three films."
Diesel previously told us what was being planned for the next two films. "The way that it's designed-and I hope that I'm not giving too much away-is that in Chronicles of Riddick 2, we go into the Underverse, and then C3, if you will, is that final return home to Furia."
While the first was rated PG-13, he said then that he expected the second movie to be rated R. "By virtue of the fact that it takes place in the Underverse, which is obviously going to be a lot more gruesome than New Mecca."
The franchise got started with Pitch Black, which was released in February, 2000.
Vin, Vin, I love you. Please don't ever make another movie like The Pacifier because, while so far my love/lust knows no bounds, it just might if you do another like that. The only redeeming feature is your wonderful shower scene followed by the towel scene. How I love your arms and chest and stomach.
I hope to finish the second draft of my remix tomorrow. I need to start on my comica obscura assignment, too. I've come up with a number of ideas for it, but haven't started typing it yet. Soon, though. Very soon. I've unpacked my source material, so that's a good start.
