Source material: Women from horror movies, basically, most of them werewolves.
What I like: Werewolves. Women, monsters, and women who are or have been monsters. Ellie and Star used to be monsters but turned human again by the end of the movie. Veruca, Ginger, and Laurie love being murderous monsters. Lex and Mindy survived monsters while they were young girls. (And are played by the same actor, which entertains me to no end.) They are all very different girls and women, they survived (or didn’t) very different things, but they are all interesting in their similarities and their differences.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Learning to live after surviving literal monsters. What it means to be a monster, to be a former monster, to be a survivor, to be a woman. What’s it like for Mindy and Lex to grow up knowing about things that the rest of the world does not? Ellie and Star were both monsters once but now are not. How does that change the way they face the world, the way they live, the way they flirt. Are there ways to connect with other former monsters, other survivors? Veruca loves being a werewolf and a sexual predator, hates the idea of being locked in a cage; Ellie struggles with becoming a werewolf, including the sexual predation that came with it (it’s even compared to being a sexually transmitted disease), would she learn to love the monster if she had Veruca’s influence instead of the man in her own movie who turned her and wanted to kill her brother?
Canon divergence and alternate universes. Pretty much built into the character requests, I know, but I love to see how their worlds could merge or how they would change being in one world or another. Some of them die, but what if they lived? Monster women final girls would be wonderful. Monsters hunting monsters. Monsters teaming up to survive the end of the world. Monsters surviving vampire slayers. Monsters in space.
Sex and romance. In all the worlds, the werewolves (and Star the vampire) are sexual predators when they are monsters. Seducing each other, romancing each other, falling in love while hunting things, while running from things, while trying to survive. Enemies to lovers. Monsters finding each other. Former monsters finding each other. Women hunting men, drawing them in through sexual appeal.

Source material: US horror trilogy (of movies, not tv episodes, which means I will never not be annoyed at the fandom name) about teenagers trying to survive a cursed town.
What I like: The settings (summer camp horror is one of the horror settings I love most), the character friendships and romances, the killers, the actual curse, the entire story. I joke about having a feud with R. L. Stine but this adaptation is wonderful.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Going back to normal life after fighting literal undead monsters and curses. Surviving in a world that killed your friend for being a witch. A good night to enjoy the fruits of the land -- parties before, parties after, parties that exist in the present either brought forward by Deena or old traditions that linger. Road trips (cars or wagon trains), fleeing the known with all its terrible memories to face the unknown which has to be better. Deena carries memories of Sarah Fier with her now, all the ways she loved and was loved and was hated and was feared. More summer camp horror. Travel shenanigans that bring everyone together as a chosen family.
Crossovers and alternate universes. Hunting monsters, saving people. Road trips to find the strange things that lurk in the night. Everyone lives. Space witches, alien killers, curses that reach from one universe to the next. Put them in your favorite urban legend. The curse grants Shadyside shapeshifting powers to try to protect them from the Goodes.
Sex and romance. I have a soft spot for queer drummer girls, which is where Deena starts the story. Stolen kisses, during the village parties, while working the fields, slipping into empty hallways between classes.

What I like: The characters, the adventures, how feminist it feels, how a man is killed to drive a woman’s story, the chosen family aspect, the visuals (the colors, the camera angles, the fight choreography), the story.
Prompts:
Post-canon adventures. Murder found family road trip of doom. Ways they are and are not actually safe. Finding other powerful men to stop them abusing the world. Emily, already brave, smart, fierce, and adorable, grows up with this strong, intelligent, driven women.
Crossovers and alternate universes. Everyone lives! Leverage AU. Space assassins. Loved that rich men and their enablers were the real enemy in the movie, would love to see more of that, but also love the idea of them hunting monsters and not just human men.
Sex and romance. Scarlet and Anna May had a real bad breakup, didn’t they, based on how Anna May reacts to her leaving even more than everyone else does; they’ve reconnected now and fall back in love.

Mummy Series:
Ship: Ardeth Bay/Evy Carnahan O'Connell/Rick O'Connell (The Mummy Series)
Source material: US adventure series about a librarian, an adventurer, a treasure seeker, and a protector of the secrets of the desert team up to save the world from a mummy.
What I like: Evy the librarian, the softness between Evy and Rick, the chemistry between Evy, Rick, and Ardeth, the silliness and fun of the adventures, that moment when Imhotep smears the gold on Anck-su-namun’s skin, which he certainly could never have avoided so they wouldn’t be caught, the wider worldbuilding around the Medjai and reincarnation.
Prompts:
More adventures. Evy finding more and more artifacts to search for and protect. Evy accidentally raising the dead in other places. Evy in the jungle, or the forest, or deep in the ice and snow trying to stop people from raising the dead. Cursed objects, haunted places, and all the trouble she can get into. Saving the world over and over again, different types of monsters each time (and sometimes the threat is only human).
Alternate universes and crossovers. IN SPACE! And all the alien artifacts she could find on other worlds. Weird west. Evy hunting monsters with Rick and Ardeth. Time travel. Reliving the same day until she figures out how to get it right. Werewolf pack coming together. Modern AU with modern adventures and complications around archaelogy.
Love and romance and sex! We survive celebratory sex. Ancient sex magic and rituals. Slow build threesome. Out of nowhere threesome. They’re tied together throughout lifetimes as lovers and friends. Learning how to be happy together while at peace, with no monsters to fight, and with such different lives and experiences. Traveling together, filled with tropes (there was only one bed, snowed in, hurt/comfort).

What I like: Horror stories, lighthearted or not, monsters in the trees, monsters and humans becoming friends, magical flirtations, queer women.

The characters/pairings are prompts in themselves but here are some other thoughts.
Survival horror, as dark or as light-hearted as you want. Befriending the monsters (and maybe falling in love). I’d love anything and everything for these characters.
Weird west, survival horror, put everyone in space, make it all tropey so they are trapped in a cabin or deep in the woods and have to rely on each other to survive, two people one bed, falling in love with the person you’re supposed to hate, secret identities and the fallout from that.
Hunter turned hunted, hunter and werewolf teaming up together to survive something else, alpha bringing a new werewolf into her pack, nontraditional werewolf worldbuilding, having to team up to deal with dinosaurs or aliens or giant prehistoric sharks from the deep, science making a mess of things, anything, really.
Pacific Rim (Movies):
Ship: Raleigh Becket/Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)
Source Material: US sci-fi monsters vs robots movies.
What I like: Robots fighting monsters. The way humanity goes on around all the strangeness, driven to survive. Mako’s love for the jaegers, particularly Gipsy Danger, and how hard she’s worked to restore it. The worldbuilding of the drift intrigues me to no end, especially how it does or does not change people outside the actual connection. I love how Raleigh watches Mako, believing in her, eager and excited whenever she’s around. I love the give and take between them both physically and mentally. I love how at the end, that they have both survived is more important than a movie-ending kiss.
I only know the first movie.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Quiet moments during the movie, quiet moments in the time after, whatever, what does life look like for Mako and Raleigh? They’ve both lost so much, how do they get through that, individually and together? Mourning and love and heartache and acceptance, and so on. Learning how to live once the fighting is done.
More adventures. They’ve closed the rift. Mako and Raleigh both survive. What do they do next? Does the program completely end? Do they get funding and support again because who knows what will come next? Do organizations try to take the science developed and discovered during the kaiju years and open up something even more terrible? The threat from the seas has been stopped, next up the threat from above.
Alternate universes and fusions. What if Raleigh and Mako had to keep piloting through more kaiju? Draft compatibility works better if you’re a werewolf or a vampire or a shapeshifter or whatever, so people get infected in order to drift better and be heroes. IN SPACE! Taking the fight to the next threat. Dimension-hopping shenanigans. Pilots go rogue and take their Jaegers with them. Lots of fandoms have Pacific Rim fusions where those characters are Jaeger pilots; what sort of fusions could Raleigh and Mako fit into? Full horror movie, Jaegers gone rogue.
Sex and romance. The Drift is a short-cut to intimacy, learning to live with their love is harder. Mako tops Raleigh in so many different ways. They’re famous and have to find space for their private romance within that. Post-Drift sex. Touch-starved people coming together. They’ve both lost their families, they have to build new ones.

Source Material: US comedy tv series about a man who can bring people back from the dead, his wacky found family, and solving murder mysteries.
What I like: The warm wacky fun of it, the bright colors, the friendships and flirtations and romances between the characters, the quirky dialogue, the silly brightness of it all set against the fairly gross deaths, the solid narrator presence.
Prompts:
Another murder mystery. The weirder the better, death at a carnival in the tunnel of love, death while skydiving somewhere between jumping out of the plane and landing, death by pineapple, death by resurrected woolly mammoth.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Chosen family as a team in heists, surviving an island, lighthearted survival horror, assassins, superheroes. People start coming back wrong, Ned can no longer send them back to death. All that smart humor in the weird west.
Love and romance. Tropes galore. Finding ways to touch, friends to lovers, bedsharing, kissing booths, dance offs. Navigating polyamorous relationships. Raising Emerson’s daughter as one big chosen family.

Source material: US horror comedy movie about underground monsters hunting via vibrations and the people trying to survive.
What I like: Rhonda forever. She’s a nerdy seismologist who is smart and brave and daring. Underground monsters hunting via vibrations are terrifying and perfect. The mix of humor and horror.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Learning to live after surviving literal monsters. Mindy charmed by Rhonda’s intelligence, science geekery, and general badassery and that hero worships carries her into science herself. Rhonda, Val, and Earl adjusting to living together, traveling together, loving each other.
More monsters. Rhonda using science to track down more monsters. Rhonda trying to explain her findings to the university where she studies. Rhonda becoming part of grad-student lore with all her monster stories. Rhonda bonding with Mindy throughout the years as Mindy grows up knowing that sometimes monsters do exist and science can help save you. Rhonda bonding with Heather over survival and prepping.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Rhonda the monster hunter. Worm-creatures in space. With all the dust and desert and horse riding, this could easily be an older weird west story without even as much technology as they have. Rhonda’s brought in when seismological events start hinting at trouble for Jurassic World. The real secret of the small desert town is that everyone living there are werecoyotes. Teaming up to track more animals no one believes exist (in the ocean, in the desert, in space).
Sex and romance. Rhonda living her best scientist life while Earl keeps their home and Val jumps from odd job to odd job. Romance novel shenanigans, the scientist and the cowboys. Sex games. Sex and comfort after nightmares. Mindy grows up and has to figure out how to tell her partner about her past.
Willow (1988):

Source material: US fantasy movie about a baby destined to save the world, an evil queen determined to destroy her, and the people on either side.
What I like: Everything. Sorsha and her swords, her prowess in battle, her drive to prove herself to a mother who disregards her at every turn and uses her only for her power. How shocked she is when Madmartigan compliments her while he’s under the spell, and her anger when it goes away. The way she turns on her mother to save the world. Warriors who were friends once but became enemies and then must team up to save the world. Warriors falling in love.
The worldbuilding, the magic and warriors and brave Willow and just everything.
Prompts:
More adventures. Sorsha and Madmartigan are raising and protecting Elora Danan by the end of the movie. As the child grows, surely others will come for her, too, eager to control that power and the prophecies that may rise around her. Sorsha and Mardmartigan go into battle again and again. Magic brings new monsters. Willow needs their help. Terrible storms come onto the lands and they must find a way to survive. Sorsha before the movie, so desperate for her mother's approval, fighting (and fucking?) her way through the world. Sorsha the warrior queen, Madmartigan and Airk her devoted (snarky) right and left hand warriors. All the ways Sorsha tries to impress her mother throughout her life.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Sorsha and all the women warriors from other fandoms. Modern knights and warriors. IN SPACE! Weird west. They’re turned into wolves instead of pigs, or another predator, and the traits of that predator lingers. Bavmorda banishes Elora, and Sorsha and the team have to find another way to defeat her. Superheroes. Monster hunters. Sorsha the werewolf (Madmartigan and Airk as any sort of animal shapeshifter also welcome (Airk the werebear makes me grin), whether Sorsha infects them with it or not).

What I like: Werewolves. Women, monsters, and women who are or have been monsters. Ellie and Star used to be monsters but turned human again by the end of the movie. Veruca, Ginger, and Laurie love being murderous monsters. Lex and Mindy survived monsters while they were young girls. (And are played by the same actor, which entertains me to no end.) They are all very different girls and women, they survived (or didn’t) very different things, but they are all interesting in their similarities and their differences.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Learning to live after surviving literal monsters. What it means to be a monster, to be a former monster, to be a survivor, to be a woman. What’s it like for Mindy and Lex to grow up knowing about things that the rest of the world does not? Ellie and Star were both monsters once but now are not. How does that change the way they face the world, the way they live, the way they flirt. Are there ways to connect with other former monsters, other survivors? Veruca loves being a werewolf and a sexual predator, hates the idea of being locked in a cage; Ellie struggles with becoming a werewolf, including the sexual predation that came with it (it’s even compared to being a sexually transmitted disease), would she learn to love the monster if she had Veruca’s influence instead of the man in her own movie who turned her and wanted to kill her brother?
Canon divergence and alternate universes. Pretty much built into the character requests, I know, but I love to see how their worlds could merge or how they would change being in one world or another. Some of them die, but what if they lived? Monster women final girls would be wonderful. Monsters hunting monsters. Monsters teaming up to survive the end of the world. Monsters surviving vampire slayers. Monsters in space.
Sex and romance. In all the worlds, the werewolves (and Star the vampire) are sexual predators when they are monsters. Seducing each other, romancing each other, falling in love while hunting things, while running from things, while trying to survive. Enemies to lovers. Monsters finding each other. Former monsters finding each other. Women hunting men, drawing them in through sexual appeal.

What I like: The settings (summer camp horror is one of the horror settings I love most), the character friendships and romances, the killers, the actual curse, the entire story. I joke about having a feud with R. L. Stine but this adaptation is wonderful.

Slice of life. Going back to normal life after fighting literal undead monsters and curses. Surviving in a world that killed your friend for being a witch. A good night to enjoy the fruits of the land -- parties before, parties after, parties that exist in the present either brought forward by Deena or old traditions that linger. Road trips (cars or wagon trains), fleeing the known with all its terrible memories to face the unknown which has to be better. Deena carries memories of Sarah Fier with her now, all the ways she loved and was loved and was hated and was feared. More summer camp horror. Travel shenanigans that bring everyone together as a chosen family.
Crossovers and alternate universes. Hunting monsters, saving people. Road trips to find the strange things that lurk in the night. Everyone lives. Space witches, alien killers, curses that reach from one universe to the next. Put them in your favorite urban legend. The curse grants Shadyside shapeshifting powers to try to protect them from the Goodes.
Sex and romance. I have a soft spot for queer drummer girls, which is where Deena starts the story. Stolen kisses, during the village parties, while working the fields, slipping into empty hallways between classes.

Post-canon adventures. Murder found family road trip of doom. Ways they are and are not actually safe. Finding other powerful men to stop them abusing the world. Emily, already brave, smart, fierce, and adorable, grows up with this strong, intelligent, driven women.
Crossovers and alternate universes. Everyone lives! Leverage AU. Space assassins. Loved that rich men and their enablers were the real enemy in the movie, would love to see more of that, but also love the idea of them hunting monsters and not just human men.
Sex and romance. Scarlet and Anna May had a real bad breakup, didn’t they, based on how Anna May reacts to her leaving even more than everyone else does; they’ve reconnected now and fall back in love.

What I like: Evy the librarian, the softness between Evy and Rick, the chemistry between Evy, Rick, and Ardeth, the silliness and fun of the adventures, that moment when Imhotep smears the gold on Anck-su-namun’s skin, which he certainly could never have avoided so they wouldn’t be caught, the wider worldbuilding around the Medjai and reincarnation.

More adventures. Evy finding more and more artifacts to search for and protect. Evy accidentally raising the dead in other places. Evy in the jungle, or the forest, or deep in the ice and snow trying to stop people from raising the dead. Cursed objects, haunted places, and all the trouble she can get into. Saving the world over and over again, different types of monsters each time (and sometimes the threat is only human).

Survival horror, as dark or as light-hearted as you want. Befriending the monsters (and maybe falling in love). I’d love anything and everything for these characters.
Weird west, survival horror, put everyone in space, make it all tropey so they are trapped in a cabin or deep in the woods and have to rely on each other to survive, two people one bed, falling in love with the person you’re supposed to hate, secret identities and the fallout from that.
Hunter turned hunted, hunter and werewolf teaming up together to survive something else, alpha bringing a new werewolf into her pack, nontraditional werewolf worldbuilding, having to team up to deal with dinosaurs or aliens or giant prehistoric sharks from the deep, science making a mess of things, anything, really.
Pacific Rim (Movies):
Ship: Raleigh Becket/Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)
Source Material: US sci-fi monsters vs robots movies.
What I like: Robots fighting monsters. The way humanity goes on around all the strangeness, driven to survive. Mako’s love for the jaegers, particularly Gipsy Danger, and how hard she’s worked to restore it. The worldbuilding of the drift intrigues me to no end, especially how it does or does not change people outside the actual connection. I love how Raleigh watches Mako, believing in her, eager and excited whenever she’s around. I love the give and take between them both physically and mentally. I love how at the end, that they have both survived is more important than a movie-ending kiss.
I only know the first movie.
Prompts:
Slice of life. Quiet moments during the movie, quiet moments in the time after, whatever, what does life look like for Mako and Raleigh? They’ve both lost so much, how do they get through that, individually and together? Mourning and love and heartache and acceptance, and so on. Learning how to live once the fighting is done.
More adventures. They’ve closed the rift. Mako and Raleigh both survive. What do they do next? Does the program completely end? Do they get funding and support again because who knows what will come next? Do organizations try to take the science developed and discovered during the kaiju years and open up something even more terrible? The threat from the seas has been stopped, next up the threat from above.
Alternate universes and fusions. What if Raleigh and Mako had to keep piloting through more kaiju? Draft compatibility works better if you’re a werewolf or a vampire or a shapeshifter or whatever, so people get infected in order to drift better and be heroes. IN SPACE! Taking the fight to the next threat. Dimension-hopping shenanigans. Pilots go rogue and take their Jaegers with them. Lots of fandoms have Pacific Rim fusions where those characters are Jaeger pilots; what sort of fusions could Raleigh and Mako fit into? Full horror movie, Jaegers gone rogue.
Sex and romance. The Drift is a short-cut to intimacy, learning to live with their love is harder. Mako tops Raleigh in so many different ways. They’re famous and have to find space for their private romance within that. Post-Drift sex. Touch-starved people coming together. They’ve both lost their families, they have to build new ones.

Another murder mystery. The weirder the better, death at a carnival in the tunnel of love, death while skydiving somewhere between jumping out of the plane and landing, death by pineapple, death by resurrected woolly mammoth.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Chosen family as a team in heists, surviving an island, lighthearted survival horror, assassins, superheroes. People start coming back wrong, Ned can no longer send them back to death. All that smart humor in the weird west.

Slice of life. Learning to live after surviving literal monsters. Mindy charmed by Rhonda’s intelligence, science geekery, and general badassery and that hero worships carries her into science herself. Rhonda, Val, and Earl adjusting to living together, traveling together, loving each other.
More monsters. Rhonda using science to track down more monsters. Rhonda trying to explain her findings to the university where she studies. Rhonda becoming part of grad-student lore with all her monster stories. Rhonda bonding with Mindy throughout the years as Mindy grows up knowing that sometimes monsters do exist and science can help save you. Rhonda bonding with Heather over survival and prepping.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Rhonda the monster hunter. Worm-creatures in space. With all the dust and desert and horse riding, this could easily be an older weird west story without even as much technology as they have. Rhonda’s brought in when seismological events start hinting at trouble for Jurassic World. The real secret of the small desert town is that everyone living there are werecoyotes. Teaming up to track more animals no one believes exist (in the ocean, in the desert, in space).
Sex and romance. Rhonda living her best scientist life while Earl keeps their home and Val jumps from odd job to odd job. Romance novel shenanigans, the scientist and the cowboys. Sex games. Sex and comfort after nightmares. Mindy grows up and has to figure out how to tell her partner about her past.

How shocked she is when Madmartigan compliments her while he’s under the spell, and her anger when it goes away. The way she turns on her mother to save the world. Warriors who were friends once but became enemies and then must team up to save the world. Warriors falling in love.
The worldbuilding, the magic and warriors and brave Willow and just everything.
Prompts:
More adventures. Sorsha and Madmartigan are raising and protecting Elora Danan by the end of the movie. As the child grows, surely others will come for her, too, eager to control that power and the prophecies that may rise around her. Sorsha and Mardmartigan go into battle again and again. Magic brings new monsters. Willow needs their help. Terrible storms come onto the lands and they must find a way to survive. Sorsha before the movie, so desperate for her mother's approval, fighting (and fucking?) her way through the world. Sorsha the warrior queen, Madmartigan and Airk her devoted (snarky) right and left hand warriors. All the ways Sorsha tries to impress her mother throughout her life.
Alternate universes and crossovers. Sorsha and all the women warriors from other fandoms. Modern knights and warriors. IN SPACE! Weird west. They’re turned into wolves instead of pigs, or another predator, and the traits of that predator lingers. Bavmorda banishes Elora, and Sorsha and the team have to find another way to defeat her. Superheroes. Monster hunters. Sorsha the werewolf (Madmartigan and Airk as any sort of animal shapeshifter also welcome (Airk the werebear makes me grin), whether Sorsha infects them with it or not).
Sex and romance. We survived celebratory sex. Fighting turns to fucking. We’re raising a princess and have a castle at our disposal, how many places can we fuck without being caught. Sorsha topping the hell out of Madmartigan, and Madmartigan loving it. Sorsha topping the hell out of both Madmartigan and Airk, Mardmartigan loving it, and Airk loving it despite himself.
