I might night a super last minute beta on the Yuletide story, because my first beta on it is ill and I fear she is feeling worse than she was Sunday, because I've not heard from her today. Any takers? (Caveats: You can't be involved with Yuletide and the fandom is a secret until I mail it to you.)

Other than that, things are coming together well. My femslash_santa has a plot and words (nice accomplishment), I finished a beta, Yuletide is done except for a quick rewrite, my holiday story for thestalkycop has a plot and hot women--pretty much everything is coming together except for crimson_keys' holiday story. I fear it may be arriving at the very last minute on Christmas Eve, because woah, so can't get it to focus.

In honor of that failure, here's my writing roundup for the year. I? Was a huge slacker. These are the stories I've posted, broken down by month I posted them.

This also does not include all the original writing I've done (I wrote a novel which is approximate 100,000 words, and I wrote most of it twice this year, plus other original writing), and the fandom-of-one fluffy story for thestalkycop.

The majority of what I've written this year? In new fandoms, and when not in new fandoms, about new characters. (Well, new to me.) I like this trend.

Still to come: I have at least two more Ultimate X-Men Piotr stories going, a Bill/Oz/Gambit story, a Faith story set during season three of BtVS, two The Fast and the Furious/The Lost Boys crossovers with shisaiyan, more "Queertet Revisited" with thestalkycop, a Bend It Like Beckham Jules sad story, maybe some Firefly/Serenity stories if I feel brave, a Lost Boys story about Marko, a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants story if I feel brave, another Mean Girls story, a Lost/BtVS crossover story, and probably more. Not all this year, of course, though I do have two long weekends coming up with no plans.

Well thank you for saying that, I try to edit hard on my own so anyone who betas for me can just pick up the things I'm blind to and will continue to be because I've written it.

Because you asked me to write people I've killed in the main storyline, so it is hard to resurrect them in my thoughts? I have no idea why I am having such trouble with it.

Also your box will be late. I plan to mail it Friday, so it obviously won't arrive on time, but you and the Dads and Ma have such excellent gifts I just know you will forgive your dear, dear sister. (You will, won't you? I promise you'll have a story by Christmas Day at the very least.)

People don’t stay dead, especially vampires. It’s a fact of life. *winks* And no worries, sweetie. You should see my room stuffed with gifts to be wrapped and sent to special homes. So many that I walk in and want to cry. So don’t worry about it. I’m afraid your box will be late too.
