Clearly, no one in charge had any idea it would draw such crowds either! *g* It's still such a cult classic, I know people visit the boardwalk every year because of it anyway, and then add in the anniversary, I am not surprised.
I've actually had lengua tacos across the USA, though these were definitely the best ever. Americanized Mexican restaurants don't always have them, but anything getting more traditional and most taco trucks will, and I love them.
San Diego is far away from Santa Cruz, but is amazing. I have family down there, and I love it.
