I think I have higher tolerance for Farkle than I might otherwise because he's a recognizable Disney Channel type. The folks in charge there really seem to think that characters like that are funny and endearing or something instead of creepy. And these characters aren't always male, either. It isn't cuter or funnier when the harassing character is a girl.
I boggle more than a little bit at Corey's lesson plans. The class period also tends to be conveniently variable in length, generally far too short given that they're showing us the whole thing.
I don't think the lack of realism in terms of Topanga's career improves at all over the course of the series.
They tend to have characters who I'd have expected to be one offs come back in later episodes. None of them appear frequently, but they don't usually exist just for that episode.
I like that Maya's relationship with her mother isn't played for laughs and never magically becomes perfect.
