Fandom: December Talking Meme #7: Crossover

Day 7 suggested by alasse_irena: A crossover you want to read that you've never seen...

An epic crossover of women from werewolf movies and tv shows, both women who are werewolves and women who are werewolf hunters. I'd love to see characters from Never Cry Werewolf, Ginger Snaps, Cursed, Dog Soldiers, Supernatural, BtVS/AtS, early Teen Wolf and on and on. Toss in characters from fandoms that don't have werewolves to make it an epic werewolf crossover AU: Gemma and Tara and Donna from Sons of Anarchy are werewolves. So are the women of the Fast and the Furious series. Danny from the Carmilla web series. The Blue Crush surfers. Basically, I just want all sorts of awesome women tossed into a story with monsters and magic, and boom. Crossover werewolf AU of my heart.

I never nearly wrote this one time, but it would take thousands and thousands of words, probably hundreds of thousands, and I just don't have the writing time to create an epic fanfic like that anymore.

So tell me, what are your favorite crossovers? I'd love recommendations. I read even if I don't know one (or all) of the fandoms.

(Between this and comments on yesterday's werewolf post, I'm going to do a follow-up post where I talk about specific werewolves in fiction. So excited.)

Werewolf Dannyyyyy. Yes. I had that thought while I was watching Carmilla. I'm not even that into lady werewolves (I like werewolves for the kink potential more than the trope or mythology, and the kink potential usually kicks in most for me when they're guys) but that bit where she has a slash on her nose after the big fight? Mmm yes.

Love that slash on her nose. Danny is just -- she hits a lot of my buttons anyway, and then the idea of werewolf Danny is just amazing. I really need to rewatch the webseries now that it's done.

If you wanted to create even a portion of this story, I would IM with you to help develop it and then I would betaread the everloving heck out of it. I would really, really love it.

I am still so, so tempted. I may make it my fanfic goal for 2015; a little bit each month is doable, right?

I used to maintain a recs site (I haven't touched it in about six years), and I had a crossovers section. I don't guarantee all or even most of these stories are still there. I haven't checked in years. They are all things I liked a lot, though.

I've written a few crossovers. If you're interested in self-recs, I can dig up the urls for those on either my personal site or AO3. I'm not sure you'll know any of the fandoms, however.
