Hee. Yeah, I thought the MIOBI fic was pretty solidly my writing style. Plus I'm not exactly subtle about my Emily love AND how I over-identify with her, so I was pretty sure that one was a gimme.

I'm so glad the writing style came across as different! I really wanted it to, and the SoA fic took a number of drafts and tweaking of words in order to make it feel right.

After spending so much time thinking about Tig -- I knew from day one I wanted to at least try to write it, but I was pretty prepared to fail -- I am a little softer toward Tig. Or maybe not softer. All the things I dislike about him are still there. But I think you're right, there is a lot of courtly love to Tig and how he relates to both Gemma and Tara. That doesn't erase the shitty stuff, but I think he's sometimes a very fucked up man who also tries to take care of his family and that part I can respect.

I was really excited to write for you after you gave me such excellent fic, and I'm really glad both stories worked out. Sharing fandoms with you is a lot of fun, and bringing joy on Yuletide my favorite part of fandom, so this year was a wonderful combination of great things.
