Do you know what is not conducive to writing fluffy holiday stories? Watching Capitalism: A Love Story, that's what. Thanks a lot, J! When we were watching the most haunted places in America or something like that, at least it wasn't depressing and was highly entertaining.
However, I did finish the five stories I wanted to write this year, and since they are all longer than 1000 words, I've officially written more this year than last year for Yuletide.
Also, finishing this story means I've written over 300k this year.
I haven't decided if I am going to try for treat number five, but maybe.
ETA: Writing treat #5 but also watching the amazing Peavey Viper amp. I haven't looked at amps since Dad and I picked out my little bass amp four or five years ago. OMG SO AWESOME. Thanks, J!
(And now the Delta Blues amp, the classic series. UNF. God, I love music and all that goes with it.)
ETA2: WOO! I've now written more than I did last year. GO ME.
