I had this strange fever-dream in which I made out with Jax in an elevator(!) after a wild motorcycle ride (on separate bikes) trying to get away from killer werewolves (!!) who blew up my car and killed my best friend (!!!) because the MC had photos of werewolf kills and I was teaching them to hunt werewolves (!!!!) as the country's lead werewolf hunter.

I don't even know.

I am actually not a big Jax fan (though I love Tara/Jax) and would much rather have been dreaming about Opie, but dream!Jax was a pretty damn good kisser. Also the wild motorcycle ride was AWESOME. I loved the giant bike I rode.

Since I'm dreaming about (a wildly AU variation of) the show already, I figured it was time to watch the next episode.

First, I really have issue with the Comcast blurb that starts like this: With the porn business becoming more trouble than it's worth.

Yeah, you mean the way it's becoming more trouble than it's worth because Jax is an idiot and his actions led straight to Luanne's death? In the way that the club's actions have really upped the harassment of the porn business? In the way that a woman is now dead? That's more trouble than it's worth?

I -- am not sure why they only took one of Otto's eyes. I kept picturing both. Or from that scar, did he already lose the eye?

Opie is really kinda stepping up on the being Clay's (unofficial) second. On the one hand, that sucks because of Donna. On the other hand, I've always wondered why Jax was the only one being considered to follow Clay. Family ties, I assume. Actually having two upcoming alphas is dramatic and wonderful.

Bobby making banana bread (or at least offering it to Clay) is adorable.

Porn is dirty, Clay? Dirtier than selling guns and killing witnesses? REALLY?

God, neither Clay nor Jax have any freaking idea how to NOT let their vendetta cloud their vision, do they?

Opie's neck tattoo makes me kinda weak in the knees. NECK TATTOOS FOR THE WIN!

I am tired of this Clay and Jax thing. Good god, Jax, just fucking challenge him already. What you're doing ISN'T WORKING. Also, I am still pissed that he hasn't told Opie the truth.

Actually, I think Luanne's death is pretty firmly on Jax's hands.

Gemma spending more and more time in the chapel is gorgeous. Oh, Gemma, I love you so much. SO MUCH.

I am intrigued by Jax still being so protective of and loving towards Gemma. At the end of season one, it looked like Gemma and Clay were going to be set against Jax. I like that Gemma is still kinda both sides.

OMG UNSER. Gemma offering help to Unser is -- I am flaily. I love Gemma so much.

Is Lyla's kid's name Piper? Really?

Oh, Opie. The look on his face when Lyla touched his cheek. OMG HEARTBREAKING. I love you Opie.

I wonder if this will open a discussion at some point between Opie and Lyla about being a porn star and job choice. Like the show will actually address how working in the sex industry isn't necessarily something to be ashamed of, etc.

Jesus fuck, Jax, just challenge him already. (Or maybe I think way too much in werewolf terms.) But still, this is getting OLD.

Also, like practically the whole club knows about Donna now. Even the prospect was there for that exchange between Clay and Jax. AT SOME POINT, YOU ARE GOING TO TELL OPIE, RIGHT? YOU REMEMBER OPIE. DONNA'S WIFE? SUPPOSEDLY YOUR BEST GODDAMN FRIEND?

Honestly, I think I'd tell Opie and have him shoot Clay, Tig, AND Jax at this point.

Bobby, WHY are you telling Jax about fucking Luanne? Are you trying to make yourself feel better? By telling Jax? I don't know how that works, considering how Jax is obviously carrying guilt right now too.

I am shocked that Jax hasn't found a way to put a bullet in Tig's head. There's been enough gun fights and attacks, etc. It could have been done.

Jax, maybe you and Opie would be getting along better if YOU STOPPED LYING TO HIM ABOUT DONNA'S DEATH.

I am disturbed by how much I enjoy Hale working with Jax and Clay even though he still wants to shut them down. A good guy who wants to do things the right way and yet will go off the up and up when he thinks that's the way to get to do the right thing.

Gemma called Tara baby and not in the sarcastic way, but in that you're family way. OMG SO MUCH LOVE FOR GEMMA.

Why isn't Jax wearing a face mask? WHY?

According to this show, working in any side of the legal field is way more dangerous and interesting than most of the time it actually is.

Jax, I really do not understand your plan. You haven't challenged Clay nor told Opie the truth because you were going to change things from the inside. How exactly are you going to change things as a lone wolf? (Yeah, I really do look at things far too much in werewolf terms. Too many werewolf stories right now.)
