ETA November 5: I have now played the final episode of Life is Strange, in case my author keeps coming back to the letter for reference the way I do. I still love the things I've written below, but don't stress about something small from the fifth episode slipping in and spoiling me.

Dear Yuletide Author,

I can't wait to read your story. Yuletide is my favorite fannish time of the year. No matter on which fandom(s) we match, I'm excited to see what you've written. It brings me great joy to write stories for people for Yuletide, and I hope that you have a lot of fun and a wonderful experience writing for me.

You can find me on DW, LJ, and AO3 as escritoireazul, where I've been somewhat active this year, and generally tag a lot, so if you're looking for more information about a particular fandom or what I've written in a given fandom (I know I'm not the only person who checks that), it should be easy to find.

Just as a note: I am always down for adding werewolves to a fandom. Always.

Requests

My requests are in no specific order. I love each of them, and would be absolutely delighted to receive a story in any of them. There are spoilers in each section.

Apparently, this has been in the rules for a couple years now, but I was unaware of it, so wanted to note it in case some of you might not know either.

From this thread:

Question: Wait, are you saying that if a writer put a recipient's squicks/triggers/DNWs in their story, the mods would only do something if it was listed in the "optional details" box but not if it was listed in their letter?

Answer: We have put this in the Optional Details rules for the last couple of years, together with the fact that people aren't allowed to write dnws - before that was only assumed, and sadly sometimes people don't follow it. We can only ensure that people see Optional Details (as letters are hosted separately, and so not included in the assignment emails) - as for example not all letters are posted before assignments and many are edited as people think of new things. We have no way to be certain whether a person has read the letter or which version. If we know anyone deliberately used a letter to write a story the recipient did not want we would deal with that as a special case, but in general OD is the part we'd use in the case of problems.

Basically, if you only list your DNWs in your letter, mods may not do anything if someone writes your DNWs.
