Remember that entry where I said: "And now I want to write about Lilo and Myrtle when they're teenagers and obviously bickering because they are in love"?

Someone wrote it! (NB: Not based on my entry, however. I'm not taking credit here.)

"An Exercise in Forgiveness"
Summary: Myrtle Edmonds is nothing, if not magnanimous. No spoilers for the movie or series.

It is adorable, and so sweet, and so much fun. Myrtle's voice is incredible, and Lilo is absolutely spot on, even after so many years have passed, and it made me giddy.

It also made me even more determined to a) finish the Nani/Buffy story, b) write the Nani/Abby story, and c) finally write Lilo/Myrtle.

Title: The Moon is on the Sea
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Joss Whedon and Disney.
Setting: After Lilo & Stitch but before the rest of the movies and the tv series. Set after Dawn arrives on Buffy, though not at any point in particular. Buffy’s in an animated Hawaii. Just go with it.
Rating: All Ages
Dedication: Inspired by something [livejournal.com profile] juleskicks said a long time ago
Author's Note: The title is from "Blue Hawaii"

Summary: Nani Pelekai thought she'd seen everything when her sister's dog turned out to be an alien.

I seem to have started another Supernatural story for [livejournal.com profile] spn_xx. How'd that happen? I remember when I wrote "a billion chinese people can't be wrong" and said it was the only time I would write Supernatural. It seems I lied. Another story or so and I'll qualify for it in the Remix next year, if [livejournal.com profile] musesfool does it again.

Speaking of the Remix, I am doing something new this year. I'm not sure if it is going to work. I hope it will. I hope my assigned author doesn't mind. I don't think ze will, but you never know.

I already have a title, which is unusual for me (to have one so early). I love it. Now let's see if I can make the story work, too. So far, each word is a struggle.
