You know what? I am not even cutting for spoilers, because, really, come on. TWENTY-ONE YEARS LATER THEY'RE MAKING A SEQUEL? And you're worried about being spoiled? Damn it. I have too many spoiler ethics to not do it.

Lost Boys: The Tribe trailer

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Oh, that's going to be a steaming pile of shit, isn't it? And yet odds are good I'll be in the theater, possibly drunk, dying of laughter. Kind of like I am now, actually.

"You'll never know fear?"

What the HELL kind of tagline is that? I know it's hard to follow "Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die." but still!

So, um, if Chris is the nephew of Sam Emerson -- and then he says Michael Emerson -- whose kid is he, exactly? Who knocked up Lucy? Fess up! It was one of the Frogs, wasn't it?

Edgar now makes surfboards and hunts vampires? I really want to write a crossover between this movie and my BtVS/Blue Crush crossover where Letty is a Slayer who totally schools him on making surfboards and slaying vampires! (And picking up hot chicks, for that matter.)

You know, David and Michael watch over my DVD collection (when, exactly, are they going to put out the rest of the gang in action figure form?) and neither of them look too pleased. I am still laughing myself.

Watching that made my teeth hurt. It also made me glad I don't have a big emotional investment in the original :)

Between this, the new Hulk movie looking like even Ed Norton won't be enough of a draw, and Forbidden Kingdom looking like a "straight to North America" production, I'm thinking more and more that the only movie this year to win my hard-earned shekels at the box office will be Chocolate. Oh my, yes.

I saw the new Hulk movie trailer when I went to see Doomsday this weekend, and, yeah, that looks bad. Really, really bad. (Highlight was when, at the very end, someone else in the audience says, "Oh, is that the Hulk?" You think, mister?)

I hadn't heard of Chocolate before, but that looks interesting.

Why couldn't they just make a vampire movie without doing this?!
No really we're vamps. Dork. Looks like a Gill Man.

I know! It's not a sequel at all, minus Edgar, and his role could have been filled by any character who hunts vampires and makes surfboards. (Sorry, I can't get past that part. New Edgar! Now with surfboard making action!)

Yeah, the fact they can't even use the same vamp make-up -- what's the point? WHY, WHY, WHY?

That trailer looks awful! : (

BUT. There's a different trailer featured at the beginning of the "I Am Legend" DVD, and that one's much better, I believe.

(But why does the vampire make-up look so damn fake compared to the original??)

There is a different trailer on "I Am Legend"? I wasn't sure, so I hadn't ordered it from Netflix yet (yeah, I will order a movie just for the trailer, what? Hee). Now I must!

I don't know! You would think vampire make-up would get BETTER with time, not worse.
