Well, yes, a wet tea towel probably doesn't work too well as an oven mitt. However, I can't actually disagree, because that sounds like something I would do if I cooked more often.

I am so glad you liked this. I've not really thought about Tibby/Lena before you requested it (I'm a big fan of Carmen/Tibby and Lena/Bridget), but I absolutely fell in love with them together. They just work off each other well, and I kept reading back through the source material because I couldn't get enough of them.

The favorite line you picked is mine, too, and in fact the whole story was built around it and the opening line. I just had those two sentences and no idea where I was going with it, but it turned into a fun story to write.

I enjoyed it so much I think I may either write a sequel or expand this one because I'd like to get into Carmen's and Bee's reactions to Tibby/Lena.
