I feel so good when I get rid of things. I have to move every 2-3 years because I rent rooms from people, and eventually they want their room back for something.
Clothes used to be hard for me, but I've gotten more strict about what I'll keep. If it's more than 1 inch too small, it has to go. That amount of weight loss isn't reasonable for me right now. If I haven't worn it in 2 years, also go. I've donated probably 6 hefty bags of clothes and shoes this year, but I've also brought home 2 hefty bags of second hand clothes from the Salvation Army. At least I'm coming out ahead.
Books were pretty easy, because I had a bunch of scifi paperbacks that I wasn't going to read again. If I decide to read them again, I'll get them in digital format for my phone. Hardcover and non-fiction books are harder for me to get rid of, though.
What is your Stitch collection? Do you mean the Disney character or something else?
