I feel like crap, but I'm finally hungry and I think my fever has broken, so lunch is on its way and I'm getting ready to watch the next episode of Primeval.

SABER-TOOTH CREATURES! FINALLY! Between the predator from the future episode, the raptor episode, and this episode, they've pretty much hit every single thing I could have asked for in the show. Maybe if there was a werewolf episode, but that might be stretching it a bit much.

Women running through the woods with guns - even if they are paintball guns - is super fun. Plus the guy is about to get eaten, I think, and I love when women survive and men don't. Probably mostly because it's usually the other way around.

I really like Caroline, but her teeth look super weird this episode, like she's painted them or something. I don't even know. Maybe it's just the angle coupled with the crappy colors on my television. Maybe it's her tense little smile.

If Caroline ends up being a bad guy, it will be okay, because there are so many other non-bad guy women. Women who are competent and intelligent and strong. Women who aren't victims or villains.

I quite like the music in this episode.

All the parks and things are really lovely. I want to visit and maybe go to that little amusement park - it would be even more fun if it involved saber-tooth cats. Oh, it's a paintballing area within the park. Fabulous.

This is kind of like The Ghost and the Darkness meets Jurassic Park and it is wonderful.

I love when people call animals natural born killers - because, um, they do nothing else? They don't raise cubs, or bask in the sun, or climb trees, or whatever else they do? It's only about the kill for them?

Unfortunately, the cat doesn't look all that realistic or frightening. I am not impressed.

Why is Valerie so weird? Something's going on with her.

Abby is using heavy digging equipment - well, heavy-ish - and it is super wonderful. I love it.

And now she's uncovered a body. The cat is near - and now she's playing keep-away with it and the machine. This is fabulous.

Yeah, I hope you can climb that ladder faster than the cat can climb the tree - yes, sliding away on the line. I approve.

Why did the cat leap over him?

We're going to find out the cat has been there awhile, aren't we, and that's why the detector maybe didn't find the anomaly.

Hello, you idiots, it was either the park owner or the Valerie woman and that's why she's so upset.

Hey, look at that! Valerie has a saber-tooth pet. I like her. Though I'm not entirely sure why she has it. I know why I would want one, but she didn't come across as the type of person who enjoyed dangerous pets. Though maybe she sees it as a part of nature she must protect.

Oh, I see. Another person who believes it's a genetic experiment and she's saving it. Awww. (I love how she says garage.) Oh, he was a tiny cub when he came over. I can't say I wouldn't keep a tiny cub myself. Precious little killer cub.

"You created him and now you want to destroy him."

I love that theme.

Good grief, he's huge. The shot of him walking down her hallway is really effective.

If I was going to feed someone to my saber-tooth cat, I would by god watch while it happened. I realize this possibly makes me a freak, but it's true.

Aww, I knew he was going to attack Valerie when she tried to calm him, but it's still sad. I had hoped he wouldn't - I suppose this is why they say wild animals can never really be tamed. The government killed the cat and destroyed the remains. This is gloriously awful.

I love this scientists against the government theme and can't wait for them to start leaking news.

CAROLINE WORKS FOR THE GOVERNMENT!

She doesn't know what's going on, but she works for them.

REVOLUTION!

Um, evolved sharks. Abby might die. The cute flying dinosaur gets locked in the fridge by the horrid Caroline. Why isn't the next episode available yet? WHY?

I shouldn't have eaten. I still feel oogy. I need to do laundry.

I'm watching Tank Girl On Demand and sorting my laundry. Maybe then I will make it all the way downstairs to do laundry. We'll see.
