Fandom: The Finder
Sep. 5th, 2016 10:10 pmI'd forgotten how terrible and heartbreaking (and, okay, well fucking done) the ending of The Finder is, considering it got cut short way too soon and it leaves everyone in a terrible place. FUCK.
Clearly THIS is what I should request for Yuletide, because I just want so much better for everyone.
(Also, it has made me sad about Michael Clarke Duncan all over again. God, he was amazing in everything, and I really fucking loved his character here.)
Okay, terrible might be too strong a word, but it ends in damn bittersweet ways, and I just want all sorts of stories about these characters solving mysteries and being a strange, broken little found family.
(This rewatch reminded me how damn annoying it is that either the writing and/or the way the episodes were aired was so out of order that continuity got fucked up, which is the same in Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23, another show I just finished. It felt like a huge chunk of season two was actually episodes that were written to be a part of season one, and it was annoying as hell.)
