Fandom: Yuletide 2013
Sep. 2nd, 2013 02:37 pmSo Yuletide is ramping up again, and since the new mods decided to drop that whole two nominations rule, I no longer have to strongly consider not doing it. (That rule was a horrible idea that really goes against the spirit of Yuletide, in my opinion, and I am glad it is gone.)
Since I have been even more fannishly absent in 2013 than I was in 2012, I have no idea what I want to request or what will be super fun or anything, really. I received an amazing Never Cry Werewolf fic last year, so that's off the list now. I will have to give some consideration to what I want. (Dance Academy fix-it fic, maybe. I could probably even be caught up on season three before Yuletide.) Maybe Fast and the Furious fic set after movie six, depending on whether it is eligible or not.
I also need to think about what I want to offer to write. I can't decide if I really want to push my limits or if I should take it easy again this year, because it has been such a crappy year.
What are your thoughts on Yuletide 2013? Will you be participating? What will you request and offer?
