Oh dear. I've now finished disc two of season one BSG and I am faced with a choice. Do I keep watching and finish disc three today and not have anything else to watch until I return these and get the next from Netflix? Do I save disc three, return the others tomorrow, and watch disc three on Monday and Tuesday, arranging it so the new ones will arrive in time to watch starting Friday or so, after my weekly shows? If I do that, what in the world will I watch to keep me awake and entertained while I clean after a night of absolutely no sleep?

Well, I could always play with my new yo-yo. A. surprised us last night at gaming with new light up yo-yos. I'm rather crap at it; no, really, after we were done and just hanging out, I hit H. three times with it while he was standing around, and then after he sat down I completely lost control, flung the entire thing across the room, and almost made sure he'd never have children, as he put it. Uncoordinated? Me? Nah.

Mmmmmmm. Fresh sheets and duvets and afghans and pillow cases and mmmmm. One load in the dryer, one more load in the washer, put them all away, and then laundry will be done. Today has been full of house work, but not a bad day all in all.

I made my decision, I'm saving disc three, and then I remembered I had the last disc of season seven, and woah. Such a sucky end of the series. I mean, season seven as a whole has blown, but this last disc is really bad. Really, really bad. The highlight so far is Faith causing violence. I love you, Faith.

I think, from here on out, I'm sticking to seasons one through five. This is actually an improvement, because it used to be seasons one through three. I don't think I'll ever really like six and seven, though, and I remain disappointed in the series finale. Eh.

Woo! I just went to check if author names had been announced, and look, they have! So I can finally announce my story and talk about it some.

I wrote "Time Is Running Away (The Dream a Little Dream Remix)" which is based on "The Dog Star" by Esta Moretti. It is Sirius, in Azkaban and out, dreaming and not. There is a little Remus/Sirius, but mostly it is just a man, a little broken and a little crazy.

This marks the second year in a row I've written a remix which included a man, a little broken and a little crazy, and it marks the second half of my favorite pairing. I can actually, almost, see "sins of the flesh (the tastes like chicken remix)" and "Time Is Running Away (The Dream a Little Dream Remix)" as a pair of stories, just a little bit disturbing. I enjoy this fact.

Title: Time is Running Away (The Dream a Little Dream Remix)
