netflix and writing

Okay, my flist has eaten my brain, or at least my Netflix queue. I'm finishing up BSG season two, and what's coming for Monday? D.E.B.S. I blame you all for this.

I will probably be spamming tonight, as I try to finish this late-even-for-a-backup fic. It started so well and then just became big and overwhelming, but I want to get it in control and finished tonight.

"Lists" (about President Laura and her lists) and "Focus" (about a school-age Kara who is wonderful).

juleskicks is running Given: A Buffy the Vampire Slayer challenge, in which the portal in "The Gift" really deposits Buffy in another universe. Which universe? Your choice!

This is mostly for the girl (who is not currently online, but maybe I will remember to tell her the next time I talk to her over the phone): There is a new Vienna Teng album due out at the end of July (information from setissma). YAY!

Also, though the live choral version of "I Touch Myself" is still my favorite, Jack Off Jill's version is nice, too.

Finally, I miss the girl, I've pulled something in my shoulder so typing hurts, and the writing is going nowhere because of it. I'm off to bed.
