[meme] associations
In addition to celebrating ten years of Carla stories, the last story post was my 1000 post for this journal. Excellent.
Comment to this post, indicating that you'd like to play, and I'll give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.
So in honor of 1000 posts (which will now be 1002, because I posted incomplete thoughts locked the other day, and now this) let's do this association meme. Fun times.
I'm watching Hex with
crimson_keys. We've been having a Roswell marathon the past couple days. Both shows are enjoyable, though I have issues with them, too.

2. I don't try to be hilarious or snarky when nicknaming them. I am merely being descriptive. The Mole Lady has a lot of moles, and Jigglyneck has a neck that jiggles. The problem is sometimes things change and the nicknames don't really apply anymore. Cleopatra no longer has cleopatra hair, and Incest Poet has lost all his interest in incest and poetry, what with law school having killed his soul and all. But for ease of reference, I just refer to them as Cleopatra and IP. Most of my classmates, however, are too boring and generic for nicknames, which is the same reason why they never take up space in my journal.
3. I love BABIES! And I love blondes! I've already expounded on my love for babies in my journal, so I won't go into it. I have a thing for blondes ever since Alex Cabot. Blonde hair is so pretty! And blue eyes! Shit, I think I might've been a member of the Aryan Nation in a past life. Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, and as femme as femme can be. I can't help it. I am weak for them. There's no rational explanation for it. A judicial review of me would be successful.
4. I was never into procedurals until SVU, and really, I only liked it for the Blonde. I do like Criminal Minds for the serial killers, but that's because I have a fascination with them. I guess I like procedural shows because you can just watch any episode and sort of make sense of what's going on, unlike plotty shows like Lost or Prison Break. Or even Gossip Girl. I don't have the patience to follow through with them. It's like a one night stand versus a real relationship. With procedural shows, there's no commitment (except to SVU, but that show is like an abusive crackdealing pimp boyfriend) and I never need to remember their names OR show up the same time next week.
5. I take an awful lot of pictures of my hamsters. In fact, I have had to buy at least 3 extra SD cards because I couldn't bear to delete any pictures of my hamsters. They are really cute, if annoying. I share my pictures because sometimes I don't know have anything to say in my journal, and a picture of a cute hamster always works to whore for comments.

Strong female characters, the ocean, motorcycles, lost boys fanfic, werewolves and the moon and running through the forest and earth and dirt and sweat and warmwarm bodies (kinda a long one there).
