Ever wondered why Blue Crush doesn't tell the story of a surfer of color? Especially since the white girl's two sidekicks are played by women of color? And it's set in Hawaii?

I have this same thought about Lilo & Stitch, Myrtle and her little followers.

There are stories there. I just don't know them yet.

Also, Sanoe is like four to five inches taller than the others and yet I never noticed that much of a difference. Huh.

I assume the question about Blue Crush was rhetorical. Or else the answer is "Hollywood. And American society." Otherwise, it really doesn't bear thinking about (unless you like becoming enraged on a regular basis).
