It seems The Fast and the Furious 3 will not have Vin Diesel or Paul Walker.

I said this when they did the second movie, but how can you have a sequel without the main cast returning? Strange, strange movie-makers.

Vin, oh Vin, how can I lust for you if you're not making grand adventure movies?

I think I'll stick with the fanfic shisaiyan and I were writing. I really do need to finish the next part and email her about the Lost Boys fic we're also writing. Do you want to start on that first chapter, immediately post movie? The prologue, of sorts?

How did you want to write this? Do you want us to take turns writing chapters, or for one of us to write a little of a chapter and then pass it on to the other to add to it?

If you want to start on the post-movie intro chapter, that would be wonderful!

Excellent. I did receive it, and will probably read it in the morning, because I'm exhausted right now. I'm excited, though.

You serious? Wow, that...sucks.

Triple X 2 looks like crap, by the way. Could it be because Vin isn't in it, or Ice Cube is a sucky actor or... both?

The state of the union is a sad sad thing... the lack of Vin Diesel is, of course, the most depressing part, but it really doesn't help that his so-called "replacement"(like THAT could ever happen!) is Ice Cube...

Even if Ice Cube was an excellent actor (and honestly, I can't say one way or the other; I assume he sucks, but I can't actually think of anything offhand as to why I'd have an opinion one way or the other. I know I've seen him in movies, but he's made absolutely no impression, which isn't a good sign), he'd have a hard time replacing Vin Diesel.

Of course, I think every movie needs a little Vin in it.

You're absolutely right. Triple X was cheesy enough on its own, but at least it was a fun movie. The second one just looks like pure and complete stupidity. I don't like the idea of unnecessary sequels anyway, and how can it be a sequel when the main character doesn't return? Gah.
