another one bites the dust
Well.
Ficathon assignment emailedat the last second possible (well, that's not true, I had a whole thirty minutes left) late because I forgot about the eastern timezone part of the deadline. Foiled! I started and restarted this assignment so many times because each option was wonderful and I wish I could have written more stories (and I may still, unofficially, later). I like the one I completed, but I like the partial stories, too.
This after K. and I spent a couple of hours buying material for my Wiscon fancy-dress outfit (and a few groceries to tide me over until I leave next week). Plus I had a long phone call from J., which is unusual and is not. I hate the phone, but I've learned to talk to J. pretty well over it--not all that often, but I can do it.
I'm getting through my Do Before Wiscon list at a slow pace, but I'm getting there.
