penknife: This is a fantastic story about Remus becoming a werewolf and the things he learns and must learn to live with because of it. The whys and hows are very interesting and the writing is absolutely lovely.
Summary: It's not easy having monsters in the family. Remus Lupin (and Fenrir Greyback), gen.
"Ice Capades: Three Scenes From the Life of a Slayer" bykarabair: I'm not a fan of Buffy the character, not in the show, not in fic. However, these scenes from Buffy's life, and the way she interacts with her father, are touching and clear and terrific. They made me like her, made me feel for Buffy, and made me glad I could.
Summary: Some gen Buffy/family interaction.
"Kristy and the Horrible Break Up" bythelastgoodname: The Kristy voice in this story is fantastic, as are the details, the character interaction, and the romance. It's fun and sweet and lovely.
Summary: Sam and Stacey break up, and Kristy is distraught. Why? And what will she do to get them back together?
