Meat Loaf never gets too old to rock

As some of you may or may not know, I am a big fan of Meat Loaf. He was the first rock musician I was ever interested in hearing, and all these years later, I still love him and his music and his movies. (Yo! Rocky Horror! Black Dog! Leap of Faith! Fight Club! BloodRayne, which I haven't actually seen, but which also has Michelle Rodriguez, so worth being horrible! And Blacktop, which has Meat Loaf and Victoria Pratt! Dude, the only thing better would be Meat Loaf, Victoria Pratt, AND Michelle Rodriguez. [Okay, and maybe Vin Diesel, too.] This is getting off track.) The point is I love Meat Loaf.

[livejournal.com profile] aea knows this. So she pointed out [livejournal.com profile] adraefan's Meat Loaf day post, which reminded me of [livejournal.com profile] kphoebe's Why Meat Loaf's "Bat Out of Hell" Rocks Harder Than Any Other Song Ever. I am very happy now, and basking in the Meat Loaf love.

Bloodrayne

I watched Bloodrayne last week, and I admit I only watched it because Michelle Rodriguez was in it. It was a painful experience. I cannot even BEGIN to describe how bad that movie is. Bad acting, bad dialogue, bad delivery... just all around horrible. If you are like me and will watch a movie because it got a bad review, then you'll wanna catch this one. But I warn ya, it's downright awful.
