You guys, I just watched the latest episode of iZombie, and am pretty sure my head has exploded with my rage over the treatment of mental illness. SERIOUSLY, HOW FUCKED UP CAN YOU GET? FUCK YOU, WRITERS AND CREATORS AND EVERY FUCKING OTHER PERSON WHO SAID, OH, YEAH, LET'S AIR THIS, IT'LL BE GREAT.

Gee, how much am I NOT enjoying #izombie's use of the You're Not Crazy, It's the Supernatural trope? Because god forbid a hero be crazy.

Let me tell you how encouraged I am to seek help for #bipolar when a form of treatment means I'll automatically be suspect for violence.
FUCKING HELL. DON'T GO CRAZY, TRY TO KILL THE PRESIDENT?! CRAZY BRAIN, KIND OF A CRAPSHOOT? FUCK EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS EPISODE. #izombie
"YOU WANT TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH? SPEND SOME TIME WITH MENTALLY INSANE PEOPLE"?! #izombie this is seriously fucked.
I am disgusted that @CW_network allowed @CWiZombie to say such horrible things about people w/ mental illness. This is harmful and ableist.
And playing off Liv hearing voices as a cartoon joke is FUCKED UP. This is ruining the show for me. #izombie
And of course, the crazy girl thinks she's one of the devil's minions, but also has an active sex life for which she is judged. #izombie

I'm way behind on episodes. Which one is this? So I can skip it.

Geez, did any producers maybe stop to think for one second that people who have mental health issues might be people who watch TV and are part of this show's viewership, instead of just 'those other people' who don't interact with society? I don't think there's anything worse than feeling as if a show's writers are standing in front of you and talking over your shoulder to someone behind you as if you are not in the room.
