Primeval continues to be one of my favorite shows this season.

I love that Helen became obsessed with the monster from the future until she got too close to it and became prey. I love that she abandoned her life in order to explore the past, and yet still cares about her old life.

I am kind of in love with Abby. She's precious. I love how she runs around her flat in her underwear because she's got the heat on so high for her little pet dinosaur.

I absolutely adore the creature of episode six, the creature from the future. I love that it hunts with echolocation - which I totally guessed way before they said so - and that it has bat blood and that, well, that it's from the future.

Also that they're worried about it changing the past and the present. I love time travel, yay.

Hahahahaha. The little baby future creatures are almost adorable. And also, I love how they use an oscilloscope to track it. I also love Connor carrying it around.

The monster makes fun growly noises. I approve. The babies kind of move like gremlins.

The Creature fight is AWESOME! I just found out some of the people doing this are the same people who did Walking With... which is something I LOVE.

The romantic drama is kind of eh - except that I love Connor and Abby and am rooting for them to get together - but I also kind of enjoy how Helen tries to manipulate them all. She's a nasty piece of work sometimes, and I like that she's so unapologetic about it.

Oh, shit. Claudia Brown no longer exists. They changed the past which changes their present.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Episode seven has a raptor, according to the On Demand blurb. WOO.

I love raptor noises. So, so much.

(Okay, fine, whatever, it is just related to raptors, it isn't a raptor, but I don't care, it is presented like a raptor and it is awesome. Right down to the intelligence and the sounds and the hunting style.)

The raptor is eating candy. It is adorable.

Raptor family unit. SO SO CUTE.

Why are monster-like things in malls so awesome? I hate malls, but I'd love to, oh, shoot zombies in one, or hunt a raptor in one, or a werewolf. God, that would be fantastic, werewolves in malls.

HAHAHAHAHA. The raptor they thought was the daddy raptor just ate the baby raptor. Also the raptor has weird rattling things on its back.

And it just attacked the claw game machine because it made noise. Hahahahaha.

Damn, it took a ton of tranquilizers and it is still going. Damn.

MOTORCYCLES! Could this episode get any more made for me? I don't think so. They are hunting. a raptor. through a parking garage. on motorbikes. Seriously, best thing ever.

Episode eight has fog and a sulfur smell. Will we see the devil? I can only hope!

Oh! There's a new girl, with super cute hair. Connor and Abby are my favorites, but this adorable girl hitting on Connor could be fun, too. Yay for flirting at the movie rental.

WOAH. Helen looks a LOT different in this season. Her hair is cute - it's short and far more manageable for running around with dinosaurs, but it was kind of shocking. I love her clothes, always, though, all the ripped pieces and wrapped bits.

Caroline. That's the new woman with the awesome hair.

The next episode has a saber tooth cat! FINALLY! And of course it isn't yet available through On Demand. Damn it! Ah well, nextt ime I will finally get my saber tooth cat, after the teasing of an earlier episode.

I quite love Primeval.

EEEE!

YES. I have so so so much love for Primeval. :D

I just watched the big cat episode, so I shall keep all comments to things before that one.

Everything you said. *lol*

Also, I think, and thought from the beginning, that there was some crazy tension between Nick and Stephen and I totally would believe they were having an illicit relationship.

Helen, oh, Helen. I can't decide if I love her or hate her. But, I can't take my eyes off her.

Also, for reasons that escape me, I find Nick Cutter insanely hot. INSANELY HOT. Even though he really isn't.

Urg. But I can't help myself.
