[fandom] Angel 2.15 "Loyalty"

Fred: Is that a vampire?
Gunn: (pulls out a stake) One way to find out.

Gunn, don't you know that's how Faith got in trouble.

Also, why did no one tell me there was a carousel scene? It's totally a shout out to The Lost Boys. I know it is!

This is painful, watching and knowing Wes is going to betray Angel. Oh, Wes.

Also, Angel taking care of Connor is the most adorable thing ever.

I am really, really pervy, I know, but the fact "the vampire will devour his child[e]" gives me images of blowjobs and Spike. Heh.

Does the talking hamburger say it's a loa? One of my favorite fanfic authors wrote an LB story about a loa, and it was lovely and deliciously spooky. This is not.

Awww, the wording on the lj-cut gave me nostalgic pangs. I miss AtS, still, like crazy.

I need to start watching some Angel DVDs. I haven't seen an episode since it went off the air, and it's starting to fade from my memory now. I have the whole Buffy series on DVD and have watched it all the way through once or twice, but not Angel.

It's totally a shout out to The Lost Boys. I know it is!

Wasn't there a carousel scene in the Buffy movie too? But yeah, Lost Boys is love.

Yeah, there was. Joss has said he's a fan of The Lost Boys, and was inspired by it, so I'm always amused at what I see as shout outs to the movie. (Which I also love, and look for references everywhere.)
