scrollgirl has a really interesting conversation going on about why people prefer lighter hair and skin (if they do).

I'm exhausted even though I slept most of the morning. My car fell apart yesterday (literally, the rear end fell off on the interstate) and though no one was hurt (luckily), it was a long, exhausting day and I am strangely sore still.

I was going to go over to watch Serenity and maybe The War of the Worlds with my sister and brother-in-law, but he's gone with my dad (and I think possibly an ex-boyfriend of mine who is now married to a friend from high school) to look at possible replacement parts (and whole new vehicles for me to tear apart).

Plus I'm tired again. But if I go, we can have fun and I can clean and write tonight and tomorrow. It would be nice to watch Serenity with other people.

It would also be nice to see. I switched out my contacts, but I was going to wear my glasses instead except I can't find them. They're not in the one case I have--except I just had a brief moment of clarity and remembered where I'd put them, so I've now removed my contacts and am wearing them. I hope the rest lets me see better; my right eye has been kind of sore lately.

All right, I'm going over to my sister's for awhile and then I am coming back to finish and edit my femslash_santa story as well as the Lost Boys story for crimson_keys and the Faith story for thestalkycop.
