Both the video games are new fandoms I picked up from other people's Yuletide fandom recs, and I am so excited about the potential stories. I've never had video game fandoms myself (though I've written a few stories for Yuletide before). The last one I'm not sure I'll request; most of the fandom is super into the canonical m/m, and it is awesome, but I am in it for the women having adventures. We shall see.

What has you guys excited about Yuletide?

Are these video games that I need to investigate playing, do you think?

I think you'll enjoy them, especially Life is Strange! It has the more fully developed world, I think, or at least the world that is more easily accessible via straightforward gameplay, and I like the characters a lot more, but both games are pretty wonderful.

LiS is basically a game about a girl, Max, who discovers she can rewind time, and uses that skill to both learn what happened to a missing local girl and save the town from a massive tornado she thinks will destroy it.

LLtQ is about a princess, Elodie, whose mother has recently died, and who has to survive until her coronation, on her fifteenth birthday, while learning different skills she will need to survive and, if she makes it, rule.
