I started this story back before assignments went out, too, because I loved the prompt a lot, but it took forever for me to finally figure out what story I wanted to tell. This is one of my oldest online fandoms, and I am still so, so fond of the original movie and the characters. I am entertained that not only did no one guess I wrote this, but multiple people recommended it to me.
