Fandom: Glee rage AGAIN
OMG Why can't I stop posting about this show? I already have rage! (And something I like a little.)
(This episode really makes me want more Pushing Daisies. Woe. WOE.)
I hate the previously on because it completely failed to mention that Rachel quit not because there was a musical but because she was a selfish asshole.
Shockingly, I actually kind of like Quinn's pregnancy, at least where it's about Quinn and her trying to deal with all of it.
I'm suspending my disbelief some on a school being able to fail a kid just to keep him in their glee club and bringing back people who never graduated and also I swore the football team crossed the line of scrimmage during their dance. Whatever. Suspending disbelief.
ANYway, I also don't see why they're so desperate to get Rachel back. I mean, on the one hand, yes, because they're not confident in themselves. But everyone thinks they need Rachel and HELLO the other girls sing fantastically. God. Why do you need Rachel? Are you scared to put together a multiracial lead couple?
Wait. The glee kids are worried about April drawing too much attention to them? And Rachel's throwing fits doesn't?
Though yeah, way to make a joke of alcoholism. What happened to her stopping drinking?
Hahahahahaha. Bowling and karaoke. Possibly one of my favorite combinations, even though I don't sing.
So Rachel quits the play because she can't handle criticism? That's my take-away. I feel for her in some ways, because it really sucks to have to deal with not being the best or good enough or whatever, but I still find her incredibly annoying.
So now this is April and her back-up singers? Have I missed the point of an ensemble? Really?
I do like their costumes though - the hats and the jeans and the boots - too cute.
She ran awkwardly around the wheelchair and then kicked it? SERIOUSLY? And then STANDS ON IT?
This show. This show sucks so much.
They don't need Rachel to be great, either. GODDAMN. Rachel as an understudy to April DOESN'T MAKE HER NOT THE STAR if the second song is anything like the first.
HELLO. Mercedes can sing! Tina can sing! Quinn can sing! (I keep mixing up the names Finn and Quinn. Too similar! Too similar!)
SEE? GETTING THE LEAD AFTER SHE WALKED OUT ON THEM DOES NOT WORK FOR ME!
I love this song, too, and yet now I am angry at it. SO ANGRY. Have there been any songs with a male lead and a female lead that involved a multiracial pairing? GODDAMN.
For that matter, why does Rachel even have a costume for this?
LOOK AT THAT! Mercedes could have been the lead the whole song! Obviously she could have done. OBVIOUS-FUCKING-LY.
God, this show makes me mad.
