I first watched Blue Crush because I was going to Hawaii shortly after it came out, I love surfing, and I love Michelle Rodriguez. I had no idea it would be so awesome or that I would end up having stories to tell in it. Or that the family love (created families, sisters struggling to find a balance between being siblings and friends, between freedom and control, family responsibilities, all of my favorite things) would be so awesome. Plus the Eden love for Anne Marie blew me away.

I think I'm going to go rewatch it again now.
