Oh my word... I am speechless because I love you so much! Every single one of my requests! This is by far the most perfect fic I've ever received and it makes me smile how you and I have so much overlap and commonality in the things we see.
The fic as a whole is so many things I love - sad and physical, self aware and brilliant and full of beautiful girls.
Your Dawn is beautiful, just wanting to be real and valuable; understanding the frustration of always being second and understanding the strength in Faith. I especially love this: Faith watched her, quiet and steady. and the flow on from that, Faith's hands on Dawn, how Faith lets Dawn lead.
Then my heart breaks for Lena, hungry and human and coming home with food and music, and for Eden keeping it all together when all she can think is Anne Marie. Sigh. So sad, but gorgeous and I love the image of Eden with her hand on the phone, all the needs of the day before her, and Eden with a beer under the stars that Anne-Marie probably hasn't noticed.
Plus you sent Anne-Marie to Australia. :)
And then, my crossover dream of football girls with Bee and Viola. I love the description of Bridget - like a hurricane of hot. So true of her. Also the way she knows and gets exactly what she wants. I love that Viola understands high school and love and lets it go to enjoy what they have. Her honesty with herself seems so real. I love that it's sort of a shiny thing where they don't think so much of their other lives.
And then that little piece of perfect happiness - sweet Mina making Haley so sweet. Mina's feisty side is such an important addition to the power play between them. And I love this Mina looked shocked, and dropped the fake phone to her side. and Mina's bright smile making Haley smile.
So delighted with this whole thing, I can't even work out which piece I like best. But I'll be rereading it over and again and I can't wait!!
