[writing] birthday fic

Short break from studying to write some birthday fic. It's coming along nicely, even though it's already about 1500 words longer than I expected. I'm going to be hard pressed to finish it by the recipient's birthday, but I'm going to try. I'll study again here in a bit, and then write again. I may just have to end it a different way than I planned, because I started this almost a year ago and don't really remember what I had planned at that point.

It's so much fun, though, and I really love how this throwaway crossover has turned into something fabulous.
