Fast and the Furious Fic: From Just One Spark (Han/Gisele)

Yuletide reveals have occurred, so I can claim the stories I wrote. This was written for my original assignment. I saw the prompt before assignments went out and loved it. I was super excited when I got my assignment and saw it was a prompt I loved. I then spend the next few weeks outlining and reoutlining and trying a different thing -- I was freaked the fuck out. I could not get Han's voice down in a way I liked to save my life. I knew the beginning, I knew how it would end, I just could not get it written. I struggled with his voice over and over and over again up to the deadline, and then kept poking at it before the archive opened. The last story I wrote from Han's point of view clicked immediately, and I was very frustrated that this one did not. In the end, though, I love this story. I'm considering whether I should write a sequel, because I am intrigued to see how Gisele's presence changes Han's motivations and actions in Tokyo Drift.

I saw this prompt when the letter was posted to the Yuletide community, and immediately texted and email the Girl with all my squee. She got me reading Making Out in the first place, and we love it so, so much. (Katherine Applegate and Michael Grant are some of our YA writing heroes.) The second I saw this prompt, I knew I'd end up writing for it, and the moment we started talking about it, I knew we'd write it together.

I actually started watching B99 specifically so I could write a treat for this prompt, which mentioned Rosa as a werewolf. I mean, if I hadn't liked the show, I wouldn't have written the story, but OMG, HOW MUCH DO I LOVE B99? SO MUCH. And Rosa as a werewolf is my favorite head canon for it.

Thunderheart Fic: Stains of Time (Walter/Ray)

I wanted to write this story for carlyinrome for two reason. One, and the biggest, is that she's awesome, she's given me so much support during the worst of the bipolar, and, as I said, SHE'S AWESOME. Two, though, last year, I wrote her a Thunderheart Yuletide Treat, my first time writing the fandom, and literally the moment after I posted it (on Christmas Eve), we got the call that my brother in law died. So, yeah, I needed to clean out that darkness for my own mental health.
