The virtual roses did show up; you can see them on my user info page in all their awesome glory. (I think they only stay up for a couple weeks, though, so if you want to see them, you'd better look soon.)

My other anniversary is coming up, too, and it's a shocking number. I'll have been on LJ for six years at that point; up until I started that blog, I'd never kept a journal more than a handful of days before.
